The three measurements for a dog are length, chest and neck. The illustration below shows these measurements.

Measuring the length of your dog is very simple, it is the length between the shoulders and the base of the tail. The dog's neck is measured in much the same way as a humans, by putting the tape measure around the neck and measuring the circumerence. You use the same method to get the measurement of the chest.
